Situated at the iconic UBS main office building in the heart of Zurich, an innovative project comes to life. The project involved the creation of a landing page, specifically designed for mobile devices. This digital interface serves as a medium for pedestrians to interact with a unique LED installation mounted on the building's facade. By merging the physical world with the digital realm, the objective was to promote the philanthropic endeavors of the UBS Optimus Foundation and encourage donations benefiting children.

Overcoming Integration Challenges for a Seamless User Experience

The main challenge entailed the integration of a physical LED installation with a digital interface to create real-time interactions after the donations were processed. This required the integration of Twint, a popular mobile payment method. After successfully processing the donation via Twint, users were redirected to the mobile interface facilitating interaction with the LED installation.

Amplifying Outreach and Donations through Experiential Design

The landing page was implemented with proven technologies such as Vue JS and Ruby on Rails. With its multilingual and responsive interface, it guided users through the mobile donation process. After each successful donation, users were encouraged to select a color. Then, they were prompted to observe the dynamic light installation tailored to the color they selected on the UBS building facade. The project's successful fusion of technology and experiential design has amplified the campaign's outreach, driving an increase in donations for children's benefit.
