Supporting Interactive Learning and Live Training with a Custom App
In order to provide an interactive learning environment at live training and education events, the client was provided with a web application optimized for tablet devices. During a series of live training events centered around the playful discovery of content tailored to the event's attendees, the tablets loaded with the web app served as the gateway for an interactive learning experience, supporting the understanding of novel technologies and products in an engaging manner.
Challenge
Addressing the Need for Dynamic and Real-Time Learning
The project aims to provide Nussbaum's partner firms, as advocates on the job site, with key insights about new products of Nussbaum. Thereby, Nussbaum responds to time constraints between office and work-site demands, with firms operating in this industry needing to quickly familiarize themselves with cutting-edge products and solutions on the market. The objective consisted of the creation of an interactive application that combines the digital and physical worlds, and allows participants to test their knowledge and receive immediate feedback.
Results
Strengthening Interactive Engagement and Knowledge Retention
To address this challenge, a web app with an amalgamation of interactive elements was developed. Users can scan QR codes to access specific content, respond to quizzes for knowledge testing, and receive feedback through a digital avatar. The app’s interactive map and animated touchpoints playfully engage users in their personalized learning journey. Furthermore, a backend tool aided moderators of the event in tracking quiz performance, allowing for real-time content adjustments based on participant understanding.
